Added new pictures of Beyonce at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards in Inglewood on August 24, 2014. Check them out! Also congratulations to our girl for winning four Moonmen!
Beyonce scored the #21 position at the Maxim’s Hot List of 2014! Maxim.com: “Beyonce Knowles, a.k.a. Mrs. Shawn Carter, a.k.a. Sasha Fierce, or just simply Beyonce, first grabbed our attention as frontwoman of Destiny’s Child, only to later go on to win five Grammys as a solo artist. She starred in films Austin Powers in Goldmember, Dreamgirls, Cadillac Records, and more.”
Beyonce has spotted the #7 position at the 2014 FHM Sexiest Women in the World.
FHM.com: “From bringing the sass in Destiny’s Child to reinventing herself into the biggest popstar in the entire world, Beyonce’s place in FHM 100 Sexiest, 2014 has definitely been earned.
Seriously, imagine a world without Mrs Carter? Imagine how much more fed up Jay Z would look all of the time. Imagine what you’d be dancing too at 3am on a Saturday when you’re boozed to the eyeballs and rediscovering an avid interest in pop music?
She’s a true icon of the time that just seems to continually get better, like for example when she did this recent music video an unleashed her pole dancing skills. And dressed like a sexy leopard.”
She scored a cover spot on Time’s 100 Most Influential People issue, and now Beyoncé Knowles is giving fans a special end of the week treat.
The “Crazy in Love” beauty teamed up with the publication for the debut of her new music video “Pretty Hurts” on Thursday (April 24).
Beyonce’s new clip is the latest music video from her fifth, self-titled studio album, which was released as a huge surprise at the end of 2013.
In addition to the release, the 32-year-old performer and Time teamed up for a new initiative asking fans “What is Pretty?”
Per Time, “Beyoncé asks you to join the conversation. How do you define pretty? Upload a photo or video to Instagram tagged #WhatIsPretty that captures what the word means to you. Visit WhatIsPretty.com for additional details.”
After her mega world tour and secret album release, Beyoncé Knowles proved that she is a force to be reckoned with and her consistent success helped land her a spot on Time’s 100 Most Influential People list.
Gracing one of the mag’s black-and-white covers, the “Crazy in Love” singer rocked a white crop top and briefs with a bare face and looked absolutely amazing for the au naturel spread.
Bold move, Lily Allen! The British singer, 28, released a new music video on Wednesday, April 23, coining herself the female “Sheezus” and calling out a variety of industry heavyweights including Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga.
The funky new visuals to Allen’s “Sheezus” begin with a Parental Advisory label. She is shown in electric colors as she sings about her place in the industry.
Before proclaiming “Give me that crown, bitch / I wanna be Sheezus,” the Grammy nominee name-drops major female artists, heralding Australian wunderkind Lorde and throwing shade at Lady Gaga.
“RiRi isn’t scared of Katy Perry’s roaring / Queen B’s going back to the drawing,” Allen sings. “Lorde smells blood, yeah, she’s about to slay you / Kid ain’t one to f–k with when she’s only on her debut / We’re all watching Gaga, L-O-L ah-ha / Dying for the art so, really, she’s a martyr.”
The video accompanies the title track off of the crooner’s latest album Sheezus. The project is set to drop on May 5. Watch Allen call out her competitors in the video above.
There’s nothing quite like the summer concert season and there may very well be a massive announcement from Jay Z and Beyoncé in the weeks to come.
According to the New York Post, the “Crazy in Love” songstress and her “Holy Grail” guy are gearing up to unveil their plans to embark on a 20-stadium US tour to begin in late June.
Given that Knowles recently wrapped up her year-long Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and Jay finished his Magna Carter World Tour, it seems they’re both keeping their schedules wide open so a joint venture is likely.
Bey previously praised her hubby in her HBO special “Life is But a Dream”- “He’s taught me so much about being an artist. Not a musician but an artist. And fighting for what I believe and having my standards. He doesn’t compromise his art. I used to be afraid of people thinking I was too difficult or too critical but I don’t care about that anymore as long as it is for the right reasons, and I learned that from him.”
“I just pray that Jay and I stay a team because right now we are really connected and are really communicating well and completely understand each other. This baby has made me love him more than I thought I could love another human being. I love him so much. We almost feel like one, I just don’t know how to describe it. I hope I remember this when the baby comes, and it gets tough because it’s going to be an adjustment. This feeling is so beautiful. It’s every woman’s dream to feel this way about someone.”
